Europe Shopping, Easier than Ever

Today, we change the Filipino shopping game, forever. For years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to providing Filipinos with an easy way to shop US stores online and get their items shipped straight to their doorstep with a few clicks and taps. Our vision however, never ended there. We believe that the whole world should be accessible to the Filipino, and in that spirit, we are officially opening our Europe service today on both the website and the app.

Once you login to your My Shopping Box account, you will find a brand new Europe address, just for you, to ship anything you want from anywhere in Europe, straight to your doorstep in the Philippines, hassle free. As always, we want to be with you as you take this first step; we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite stores around Europe for you to check out and start exploring.

Happy shopping, in the United States, Europe, and beyond.

P.S. If any of the sites are in a foreign language, allow Google Translate to help you get around. The world is yours.

EUROPE, EASIER THAN EVER

Under the Radar: Tiffany & Co.’s Everyday Objects Collection

Tiffany & Co.’s collection of Everyday Objects is quietly ingrained in their website which offers the usual silver jewelry and diamond offerings the company has long been known for. The collection serves up a perplexing but mesmerizing mish-mosh of mundane objects and oddities crafted from luxurious Tiffany & Co. mediums.

Popular standouts from the collection are the Bone China Tiffany Paper Cups, a nickel twin bell alarm clock, a sterling silver crazy straw, a crystal and sterling silver ice bucket, a sterling silver tin can, a set of table tennis paddles with a ball, sterling silver measuring equipment, a sterling silver golf tee, a sterling silver marker with Tiffany Blue enamel, a sterling silver and amazonite tic-tac-toe set, and even a sterling silver ball of yarn and a sterling silver bird’s nest with Tiffany blue porcelain eggs.

We’ve picked out some stuff for you to view here, but you can check out and buy the rest of the collection on the Everyday Objects page on Tiffany & Co.’s website.

Colette x Saint Laurent: Closing Collection

Legendary Parisian boutique Colette, known for its high fashion, streetwear, and accessory retailing with its iconic exhibition space, bookshop, and “water bar” serving more than 100 brands of bottled water, will close permanently this December 2017. After its founding in 1997 by Colette Roussaux, the boutique, under the cretive direction of Roussaux’s daughter Sarah Andelman, is rolling out one more highly-anticipated collection of clothing and assorted goods in collaboration with co-Parisian brand Saint Laurent, under the creative direction of Anthony Vacarello.

The collection has literally almost everything, ranging from clothing, skateboards, lighters and rollers, BDSM sex toys, and even crystal goods by Saint Laurent and Bacarrat, a vintage Polaroid camera by Saint Laurent, and a Saint Laurent Vespa motorbike.

Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld once said about Colette: “It’s the only shop where I go because they have things no one else has. I buy watches, telephones, jewellery there – everything really. They have invented a formula that you can’t copy easily, because there is only one Colette and her and Sarah are 200 percent involved.”

Parts of the collection are available now on Colette.fr and will continue to roll out over the following days. You can view more pieces from the collection below.

Black Friday: Prelude

As November swings by once again, the biggest shopping event of the year hovers in the horizon: Black Friday.

As the deals get better every year, so does the competition. Nothing stings quite as much as seeing a piece of clothing or that awesome video game you’ve had your eye on for months go for up to 70% off, only to lose out because you were too slow and unprepared; here are a few tips and tricks to keep you one step ahead of the crowd.

1. Shop Online
Contrary to popular belief, staying in on Black Friday may actually be a smarter move than going out and setting up camp in front of your favorite store. With a proper gameplan, a few extra vouchers, and quick fingers, you’ll likely come out with a larger and more diverse haul than those who are running and shoving to get one item at the brick and mortar. Do your research, set an alarm, stay in your pajamas, and add to cart.

2. Pick Your Targets
It’s time to go old school. Take pen to paper and get ready to list down which items you want and where you can get them. Start by putting together a watch list and keep those tabs bookmarked, and make sure they’re literally one click away from your shopping cart come November 24th.

3. Sign Up Early
Once you have your list of grails, head on to each of the sites that have them and sign up for an account if needed and subscribe to their email newsletter. You wouldn’t want to spend those valuable first few minutes of Black Friday filling out forms while everyone and their bot is checking out. Get in there early and stay logged in. While you’re at it, those newsletters might be able to give you some valuable info prior to the big day, and maybe even give you some extra discounts.

4. Be Paypal and Bank Ready
Nothing is worse than losing on a technicality. Make sure your credit cards are up to date and your Paypal account is locked and loaded. Let’s make sure we don’t see any avoidable error messages on the big day.

5. Have a Priority Gameplan
Even the most foolproof plans can go haywire sometimes, but winners never let a loss define them. Set your wishlist priorities and focus on your big targets first, if something goes wrong, make sure your next option is decided and also just a click away. It’s always better to walk away with something than go home empty handed after all that preparation. Be ready for anything and think positive!

Super Important: Make Sure You Have Your U.S. Address Ready!
What good is your dream haul without a trustworthy place to ship it to? Make sure you have your own suite in the United States ready by signing up with My Shopping Box today.

We’ll be in touch with more tips and tricks and suggestions under the radar, happy shopping everyone!
