How to Cop the Nike Hyper Adapt 1.0 “Wolf Grey”

Nike shocked the world back in 2016 when they unveiled the world’s first retail available self-lacing sneaker, the Hyperadapt 1.0. Originally dropped in three exclusive colorways, the sneaker was made available to a few lucky Nike fans across the world at a price tag of $720. The iconic sneakers powered by an electronic underfoot-lacing mechanism, are set to drop again on February 2nd, 2018 in a patterned “Wolf Grey” upper with a white midsole and black Swoosh. The tongue features the acronym “EARL,” which stands for Electro Adaptive Reactive Lacing.

The Hyperadapt 1.0  is still the most technologically advanced shoe in Nike’s arsenal, and much like its cousin, the Nike Air Mag from the movie Back to the Future, the Hyper Adapt 1.0 is one of the most sought-after sneakers for collectors and is almost as hard to find on the aftermarket as it is to cop at retail.

Set to be extremely limited, keep an eye on the Nike SNKRS app for the drop come February 2, and make sure your MSB U.S. address is registered on your account so you can ship the futuristic sneakers straight to your Philippine doorstep.

Elon Musk Releases The Boring Company Flamethrower

Following a series of teasers from CEO Elon Musk, The Boring Company recently released its long-awaited flamethrower. The outrageous item comes after the infrastructure and tunnel construction company met Musk’s goal of selling 50,000 branded hats.

Available for pre-order now, the flamethrower looks to be modeled after the CSI S.T.A.R. XR-5 Airsoft Rifle and features a top mounted gas tank for a sleek and futuristic design. Additionally, The Boring Company wants fans to use its flamethrowers safely which is why they are also selling a branded fire extinguisher that comes with a “cool sticker.”

To celebrate the release of the Boring Company Flamethrower, Elon Musk recently took to Instagram to show off how to use them. In one clip Musk is seen firing a flamethrower up and playfully running at the cameraman. While the other clip of two employees trying the flamethrower is captioned, “great for roasting nuts.”

Priced at $500 USD, The Boring Company Flamethrower is available for pre-order now via boringcompany.com. While an accompanying Boring Company Fire Extinguisher is also available on the site for $30 USD.

Unfortunately, My Shopping Box CANNOT ship the flamethrower to your doorstep, so please don’t send any to your suites (and guns and drugs). See? We love you THAT much.

Fresh off the heels of Solution, arguably the biggest skincare launch of 2018, Glossier shows no signs of stopping. The brand just revealed via Instagram that it will drop a new makeup product — and debuted it on Beyoncé.

Glossier announced that Beyoncé rocked the yet-to-be-revealed product somewhere in her Grammys beauty look. Nike React Poses Serious Challenge to Adidas Boost

Nike’s latest cushioning technology, Nike React, is the first foam cushioning of its kind to be implemented in a running shoe. The new innovation is described by Nike as 5 percent lighter and 11 percent softer than its predecessor, with 10 percent greater energy return than the Lunar Epic 2, which featured LunarLon cushioning.

Draymond Green of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors was also chosen to test the new React cushioning on-court, via a Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit PE under Virgil Abloh’s Hyperdunk from “The Ten” series.

With a reported 17,000 miles worth of testing under its belt, in short, the Nike React technology is the lightest, softest, smoothest and most resilient foam Nike has ever delivered.

Industry competitor Adidas has gained traction on Nike in recent years due to the success of their Boost technology, which made models like the Ultra Boost and Yeezy Boost iconic in terms of comfort, but the new React cushioning should take back the market share from the Herzogenaurach-based German brand.

For those looking to cop their hands on a pair, the new Nike Epic React Flyknit will be available from February 22 on Nike.com for £130 (approx. $182).

Save on Shipping! Check Both of Your Addresses!

We here at My Shopping Box love using our own service because of how convenient and reliable it is. One of our in-house fashionistas recently went on an online shopping spree and stumbled upon some interesting intel that could save you a lot on shipping fees, so we wanted to share it with you!

  1. Our MSB marketing exec was buying an Off-White shirt from Luisa Via Roma’s U.S. website and saw his total go to around 330 USD. When he switched over to the Italian site, the total was around 250 EUR, which when converted costs about 306 USD. That’s over a thousand pesos worth of savings, just by using his MSB Europe address!
  2. The same exec was buying a pair of Yeezy Military Boots from Farfetch.com. According to the website, the boots were located in Rive Neuve Hommes in France. Naturally, he tried to ship it to the Europe address, but noticed that the total shipping cost was at around 30 USD. As an experiment, he entered the MSB USA address, and for some reason, saw the shipping cost go down to 10 USD!

We’re not exactly sure as to how each of these companies price their own shipping fees, but it’s always great to know that you have two options, wherever you may be purchasing the item from. So remember, just because it’s in Europe doesn’t mean it’s always cheaper to ship to MSB Europe, and vice versa. You have two MSB addresses, so maximize the benefits of that. As always, happy shopping!
